Arthur Papas coached the Australian U18 team in 2009-10, whilst also being appointed the Men's Football Scholarship Coach at the Australian Institue of Sport (2009-11).  He then took on the role of Head Coach at the VPL club Oakleigh Cannons (2010-11) before moving into the A-League arena as the First Team Assistant Coach for the Newcastle Jets (2011-12).

From there Arthur travelled to India, where he was appointed by the Indian Football Federation as thier National U22/23 Men's Team Head Coach, on the back of his I-League debut as Head Coach at Pailan Arrows (2012-13).  

In 2013, he became part of the Dempo Sports Club where he is currently the Head Coach of their I-League Team.  In addition to this, he was also involved in the Indian Super League in 2014 as the Assistant Coach at FC GOA.

Arthur also has a strong academic coaching background.  He currently holds an AFC PRO Coaching License (2014), has a Masters in Sports Coaching (2012), has an FFA Football Conditioning Certificate (2011) and a Bachelor of Applied Science - Exercise (2009).  He also served as a technical analyst for the Australian U17 National Team in 2011 and the U20 International team in 2010.
